Project

Morrison Forester. Washington, DC (2008)

This powerful global lawyers’ four story office building in Washington DC is an MIA 2009 Pinnacle award winning project. Mancini Duffy, the leading architect team who designed this structure was looking to incorporate rough looking stone work along with the modern glass stairway railing. A splitface finish being a hand chiseled specialty finish by Grebelsky was incorporated into this design in order to reinforce the firm’s values of being unique, powerful and persuasive. The chosen material was the Ramon Grey which is complemented by this finish and was the preferred tone by the architect team, making the vertical running splitface panels look sophisticated and noble.
