The rough chiseled finish is associated with the traditional finishes of the old city of Jerusalem. It is one of the most popular finishes used for exterior cladding in Jerusalem, agreeing with the city’s building code of cladding with local stone as an obligation. This rough texture but yet relatively flat face is hand chiseled in the same ancient method as it was over 2,000 years ago. The thickness of the stone can go from 2cm and up, depending on the sizes required.
