The tumbled finish is characterized by a worn antiqued look and complements the subtleness of Jerusalem Limestone. It is produced with a vibrating machine which tumbles the stone and therefore creates soft rounded edges and a velvet surface on the face of the stone. This machine finish can be produced in a variety of sizes- from small tumbled bricks and up to large patterns having a maximum height of to 24” (61cm). Otherwise, a larger size is produced in a matching handmade finish.
The tumbled finish is used mainly for flooring applications, where the desired look is rural or ancient, rather than sharp and contemporary.
