“Bogoroditza” Moscow Church. Moscow, Russia (2011)

This marvelous Church located in the heart of Moscow includes a precise restoration of Jesus’ grave located in the Church of the Holy Sepulchure in Jerusalem. In order to create an accurate replica of the grave area, the architect assigned for this project measured the exact sizes of these complicated stone details on site and sketched the plans of this 200 year old structure from scratch. The stone picked was the Jerusalem Red, which is the same stone originally used in the Church. Our factory produced these details in an antiqued finish so that the appearance is ancient and holy, matching the original as closely as possible.
