The designer of the new building of this reputable Police Station located in Boston, MA was looking to maintain the respect and honorability it deserves. As Mayor Tom Menino stated about the new station: “the neighborhood is welcome in this building”.
The material picked for this project was the Jerusalem Gold limestone in a classic honed finish. This sharp looking structure conveys a modern look due to its linear rectangular shapes, and the combination of glass and stone tile cladding. The Jerusalem Limestone due to its color and attributes add a touch of warmth and character to the building.
