Mediterranean Style Beach House. CA , Costa Mesa (2010)

The designer of this beautiful home, located right on the scenic California beach, wanted to achieve a traditional looking home as opposed to its quite extravagant surroundings. The chosen material for the exterior cladding of the house was the Jerusalem Gold in a hand chiseled splitface finish, being associated with the “traditional Jerusalem Style”. Other parts of the house consisted of more modern oriented design elements, such as a bushammered finish for the exterior pool and a line chiseled finish for the Jacuzzi as well as other interior areas of the house. The result is a tastefully designed space having a warm pleasant ambiance, nicely blending with the natural ocean view.
