JCC Building, Tenafly NJ (2011)

The JCC Jewish Center in Tenafly, NJ is a vibrant place for the Jewish people and welcomes the entire community. The designer of this building was looking to embrace these warm rooted values, also being inspired by the traditional Jerusalem Style. The exterior walls were clad with Jerusalem Gold honed tiles, combined with textured strips of Jerusalem Gold Natural Cleft, and the interior floor was paved with Jerusalem Gold honed in a four size pattern. This combination of honed and textured, modern and traditional is the essence of this center’s vision and values.
