This modern style private residence located in the Bay area in California is a confirmation that contemporary can be beautifully combined with traditional. This structure includes large glass walls from floor to ceiling and minimal black slick metal profiles. In order to spice up the design and add some dimensionality and warmth to it, the designer decided to combine a traditional look using a light soft tone in some of the supporting walls. These walls were clad with the Ramon Cream limestone in a thin veneer machine finish with straight edges and can be partially viewed through the clear glass walls. This unique design creates a powerful impact on the exterior as well as the interior space and ambiance.
