This finish is the embodiment of stone, the way nature intended. The exterior part of each Jerusalem Stone block has a rough wild texture which is often shaved off or falls out. Grebelsky has cherished these parts of the block that can be savored, using it as an authentic natural finish. Calling it a finish is actually incorrect, whereas it is the natural “finish” of the block. Since it is difficult to control, the thickness of the Natural Cleft may vary between 2-6cm, making it the thickness that has the most variance. Its maximum available size is actually the factor of the height and width of the block.
